Ideas we develop. Ideas we deliver.
Sometimes you need someone to create the idea. Sometimes you have the idea and need someone who can genuinely execute it. We do both — and we’re always straight about which role we played on which project.
When the idea doesn’t exist yet
Our clearest proof here is our own work. Chefs Uncut, Asia’s first chef bio series, wasn’t a commission — it was our concept, developed, produced and taken to distribution on Netflix and SBS Australia. Creating a format good enough for a streamer to carry means owning every stage: editorial idea, access, story structure, craft and delivery.
We bring that same development work to brand projects: audience insight, a creative platform, formats built for where the content will actually live, and the measurement thinking to know whether it worked.
When you already have the idea
Plenty of our best work comes from agencies who’ve done the strategy and need a production partner who can do their idea justice. We producedKlook’s Bucket List campaign forThe Smalls — their concept, our execution — which went on to win Gold at The Drum Awards for Marketing APAC. We’ve delivered publisher-grade series for BBC StoryWorks and co-produced a TV commercial for Starbucks APAC through BBDO.
Good agencies are good at things we’re not, and vice versa. We’re not interested in pretending otherwise — we’d rather be the production partner agencies come back to.
What we do on the creative side
- Consumer insight & research — who the audience is and what they’ll actually watch
- Campaign & format development — platform, format, talent and measurement decisions
- Creative development — concepts, scripts, treatments, formats
- Creative direction — one vision held from concept through post
- Content programmes — always-on editorial thinking, like our retained work for Frasers Property
Why having production in-house helps
When we do develop the idea, keepingproduction, branded content anddocumentary in-house means fewer handovers, fewer layers of margin, and the person who conceived the idea is in the room when it’s shot and cut. That’s how we keep more of the budget on screen.

FAQ
Are you an agency or a production company?
Both, depending on what the project needs. Some clients come to us with a brief and no idea yet — we develop the concept and produce it. Others come to us as a production partner for an idea their agency has already created. We’re comfortable in either seat and we’re always clear about which one we were in.
Can you work alongside our existing agency?
Yes, and we do it often — it’s some of our favourite work. We’ve produced campaigns and films through The Smalls, BBDO and BBC StoryWorks. If you’re an agency looking for a production partner in Singapore or across APAC, that’s a seat we’re very happy to sit in.
What does the strategy phase actually produce?
Consumer insight, a creative platform, campaign concept, formats and distribution thinking — the decisions that shape results before a camera rolls. For our own originals, like the documentary series Chefs Uncut, that phase produced the entire format we then sold to Netflix.
Do you only do video?
Video and sound are our core craft — including an award-winning audio series co-produced with Vice for Audible — plus the design work that surrounds campaigns: graphics, GIFs, web and poster design, as we deliver for Frasers Property on retainer.
